MANCHESTER HISTORIES FESTIVAL! Thursday 4th - Saturday 6th June 2026
This year marks the 10th edition of Manchester Histories Festival. It will take place in and around Manchester Central Library. The festival will celebrate the spirit of civic pride and community collaboration, inviting audiences, artists, academics, and local groups to contribute to a shared story of the city’s past, present, and future.
We will be in the Manchester Histories Hub sharing the work we have done so far and running stitch workshops ahead of the September stitch work!
THE TEXTILE SOCIETY VINTAGE FAIR- STALL & TALK Sunday 14th June 2026
Lisa Gold will be at the annual Textile Society Vintage Fair to share progress of the project with the public and will also be giving a talk between 1pm-2pm.
The Textile Society’s Antique and Vintage Textile Fair in Manchester (now in its 32nd year) is a key event in the Textile Fairs calendar. A hub for all passionate collectors of textiles, it was the first antique fair to specialise entirely in textiles.
